Student Support Program

  • An Orientation Program
  • Exemption and Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) advice
  • Smaller class sizes than University courses
  • Flexible learning and timetabling options - full time, part time and On-Line Learning available
  • A Transition Program from Year 12 to VCHE, which encourages students to develop the skills needed within a Tertiary setting
  • A Mature-Age/Returning Student Program, which develops an awareness of return to study skills
  • Optional Remedial studies program for students who need extra assistance and support
  • A College Library, with a range of texts and medical and sports journals
  • Study Techniques and Examination Tutorials, to prepare in each student, study and examination skills
  • Assistance given to students in the location of an outside clinical hours placement
  • A Student Clinic that is available for student training and development throughout the year
  • Ongoing participation of students at community events, which allow the development of practical skills in a supervised setting.
